Directing credits: The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Union Theatre - Off West End Award Nomination for Best Director), 60th Anniversary Concert of My Fair LadyKings of Broadway (Palace Theatre), The Spitfire Grill (Union Theatre – London Premiere BWW Award for Best New Production of a Musical), Stephen Sondheim’s Putting it Together (St. James Theatre – London Premiere); Dream Queen (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare’s Globe) A Little Night Music in Concert (Palace Theatre 2015 and previously Yvonne Arnaud).

Musical Staging Credits: The Elaine Paige Show (Sky Arts).

Workshop Credits: The Amazing Mrs Pritchard, Fanny & Stella, Sex, Chips and Rock N’ Roll.

Alastair is the founder and curator of RE:act – the new-writing and artist development initiative that provides a regular platform for the work of emerging theatre-makers. Through RE:act Alastair has directed many new works in productions, readings and workshops at venues including HighTide Festival, VAULT Festival and Ovalhouse.

Alastair is a judge for the MMD/MTN Cameron Mackintosh Resident Composer Prize.
